Join the community fun with Augusta First Fridays where music and family friendly events take place. Arts & Culture
Art galleries and homages to the area’s culture can be found throughout the River Region. Check out the area’s many art galleries including Morris Museum of Art and Westobou Gallery. During October, participate in the area’s renowned art festival Westobou which features events all week long. The Augusta area is also home to many musicians including James Brown and Lady Antebellum. Explore the city to see the musician’s places of interest, and afterward catch live music at one of the many music venues in the area including the James Brown Arena, Miller Theater and the Imperial Theatre.
